Mr. Real Estate
Mr. Real Estate aka Big Unk born in Natchitoches, LA, which is a small town 60 miles south of Shreveport. He got his name from his nephew calling him "unk" rather than uncle. During his childhood, Mr Real Estate and his family struggled financially, which they were barely able to make due growing up. He was raised in the projects and didn't have much to work with considering his financial disadvantages. He had to do like many of us do today and make it work with what he had. As a teenager, he hustled, trying to make money to survive. Mr Real Estate knows firsthand what it means to have to work to make a better life for yourself. An altercation occurred when Mr Real Estate was 17 years old that lead to a felony conviction and had to serve two and half years in prison. It is during this time that he began writing music. Upon his release, he went straight to the booth and began recording music. He initially wanted to put money behind other artists but it wasn't working so he started rapping himself. The love he had for music he was determined to be in the music industry. Soon after he released his first hit single "Fly Ass Fck". That single helped him to achieve name recognition and credibility in the music community as a serious artist. The song quickly spread and was featured on the radio, in clubs around the local area and soon began to spread across the southern region. After releasing his first album, Tolerated But Hated, distributed by Select-O-Hits as an independent artist with his own label Unk Records, he realized he had support. He wanted to continue making music for people to enjoy. Only this time he wanted to take a different approach to releasing his music since he now has a better understanding of the industry. Recently landing a major deal with E1 Entertainment (Koch Records) he will be coming with a new vibe on some real life experiences. Signing to E1 he changed his name to Mr Real Estate due to legal issues. Mr Real Estate's primary goal is to adequately provide for his family. His work and story are based telling the truth about what he has done, experienced, or is currently going through. He has never recorded a mixtape and feels that it's a waste of good songs; however, its not to say he will never do one. Tupac, UGK, S.U.C., and Scarface are some of his favorite artists and motivators in the industry. Everyday is a working day and entails him striving to make another dollar. The last three years he has been struggling with his health due to diabetes. Mr Real Estate doesn't have a lot of opportunities for fun but when he does get the chance to relax, he likes to have a drink and chill. He's currently working on his next album Mr. Real Estate with his new hit single "Go Hard" ft. Jah Free. Other members to look forward to on his new label Mr Real Estate Entertainment (Boot Mobb Entertainment) include Jeffery Lynn and Young Jo. Mr Real Estate wants all other aspiring artist to know that success takes focus. Hard work and perseverance are critical to succeeding in the music industry and life in general.
